How do I ignore page styles and view a basic page?
Select the ‘Tools’ menu and select ‘Internet Options’ Click on the ‘Accessibility’ option, which can be found under the ‘General’ tab. You will see the following options:

  • Ignore colours specified on Web pages
  • Ignore font styles specified on Web pages
  • Ignore font sizes specified on Web pages

Tick the options that are appropriate to you.

How do I change the font size?

Select the ‘View’ menu and select ‘Text Size’. Choose your desired font size.

How do I stop images downloading?

Select the ‘Tools’ menu and select ‘Internet Options’. Go to the ‘Advanced’ tab Scroll down the settings until you reach ‘Multimedia’. Untick the ‘Show pictures’ option. Click ‘OK’ to close the ‘Internet Options’ box.

Go to the ‘View’ tab and select ‘Page Style’. Select ‘No Style’. All page styles should be removed and you can view the page in basic layout.

How do I change the font size?

Go to the ‘View’ tab and select ‘Zoom’. If you wish to increase the size of the text only, click on ‘Zoom Text Only’ and then select ‘Zoom In’ to increase the font size to your preference.
